Nowadays you can buy HID ballast that are designed for 24v-28v input. When I installed mine, they weren’t available, or the ebay seller played dumb. Anyway, I had a set of 12v HID ballast and lights and a 24v vehicle. How was this going to work?
The same principles will apply to wiring 12v spotlights into a 24v vehicle.
